Waxing - FAQs
What is waxing? Waxing is a hair removal method that removes hair from the roots using a soft wax or a hard wax. A thin layer of wax is spread over the skin and a cloth strip is pressed on top and peeled off in a quick action against the direction of hair growth on specific body part. Using hard wax, the semi harden wax is peeled off in a swift motion against the direction of hair growth. This is a non-permanent treatment.
What kind of wax do you use? We use Australian made naturally formulated natural resins and pure bees wax that is effective at low temperatures and is super pliable and gentle.
How often should I get my wax treatment? It depends on every individual’s hair growth cycle. But is recommended to get your waxing every 3- 4 weeks.
What is a Brazilian Wax? A Brazilian Waxing removes all the hair from the bikini area from front to back, or we can leave a ‘landing strip’ or shape if you prefer.
Why get a Brazilian Wax? Because waxing makes your skin feel so soft and it lasts much longer than shaving. Some people wax because they feel it is more hygienic. Our body releases natural oils and sweat on a daily basis. Our hair can hold on to them as well as the odour they produce. When you remove the hair you can stay cleaner and fresher longer. It helps you feel less inhibited, and so sexy! You will love the results!
Does it hurt? There can be some discomfort however every person’s tolerance is different. Our experienced therapists will put you at ease and help you relax in your private room. The good news is that the process is super quick and you feel considerably less discomfort the more often you wax.
